- Developed Python preprocessing scripts to resolve CSV parsing failures and implemented null-safe PostgreSQL joins using IS NOT DISTINCT FROM to ensure row-level data integrity post-enrichment.
- Managed and troubleshot containerised microservices on ECS, diagnosing health check failures, startup race conditions, and ELB target group misconfigurations in production.
- Configured IAM users, least-privilege access policies, and credential management workflows using AWS SSO and aws-vault for secure infrastructure access.
- Audited AWS activity via CloudTrail and Athena, constructing SQL queries to surface access key usage, cross-service API calls, and potential policy violations for security reviews.
- Optimised CloudWatch spend by enforcing log retention policies and designing an export strategy to S3/Glacier for infrequently accessed logs.
- Identified S3-bound traffic routing unnecessarily through NAT gateways and implemented S3 VPC Gateway Endpoints to route traffic privately within the AWS network, eliminating unnecessary data transfer costs.
